Belated Easter Eggs
So in honor of my Easter Launch I thought that i'd share some of the cool "easter eggs" that i found for the computer (while candy is nice, im a geek....so this is just as fun)

For Mac OS X:
1.) Heres to the Crazy Ones From Johnny Appleseed
1. Go to Applications.
2. Look for TextEdit.
3. Blow up the icon and read (see above)
2.) Emacs Psychoanalysis
2. type "emacs"; click enter
3. Press ESC + X at the same time
4. You should see "M-x" appear
5. Type "psychoanalyze-pinhead" after the "M-x"
6. To stop press Ctrl-G
3.) Suck Minimize Effect
This one is awesome! You can choose between two minimization effects in Mac OSX: Genie and Scale. But there is a third effect, called Suck, which you can also use even though it is not available in the system preferences.
To use it:
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type the following: "defaults write com.apple.dock mineffect -string suck"
3. For the change to take effect, you need to restart the dock. You can either do this by:
Restarting your computer or forcing the dock to quit in the activity monitor. You can change it back in the systems preferences.
4.) Tetris in Terminal
2. Open Applications
3. Open Utilities
4. Open Terminal
5. type "emacs"; click enter
6. Press ESC + X at the same time
7. Type "tetris"
oh what up!
For Firefox:
1.) About Mozilla
1. type about:mozilla in address bar.....thats it....read it.
Here a link to a site that has easter eggs for almost any software, operating system, you name it....they have it. its pretty fun...if you are interested.
Lets Take It Back To The Start...
Hey everyone ~
So I needed to make a new blog and wanted it to be legit this time...so here it is. Welcome to Trace("Hello World"); It seems like everyday I read, see, or expereince something that has some sort of effect on me. All these things that happen to us everyday...that hold our attention (even if its just for a few minutes) are important. I'm going to make this blog about those things. This isn't a blog about something specifc. Its about all the unspecific things. Obviously it will be catered to me. But hopefully if you read this, you'll be effected by what I post as well.
Trace("Hello World"); - This comes from the geek in me. This is a line of code that can be put into a computer program to test if it is working right. Being in multimedia, I've written many "Hello World" programs. It's a way of testing a part of your code into the world. Thats what i want to do with my blog. I want to take what I find and introduce it into my world and hopefully your world too(if you're reading this). This blog is my function....and I will trace out my thoughts.
*shout out to Amanda Sanchez and Matt Miller who were part of Trace("Hello World"); when it was the best MM313 team ever!
HAPPY LAUNCH/HAPPY EASTER!!!
